Honouring your loved ones during Remembrance
The Remembrance period allows us to reflect on the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces. From donning the traditional poppy to sharing classic poems, it’s a time for paying tribute to those who fought for our way of life. By lighting a digital candle during this period, we are ensuring that their memory lives on.
While it may not be a physical candle, many families feel that the act of lighting a digital candle is just as significant. It offers them a moment of reflection, unity, and gratitude.
How ‘Light a Candle’ works
You can create your personalised tribute in just a few quick steps. First, choose the background image you would like to accompany your message. There are a number of preset images to choose from on the website.
Then, in 30 characters or less, type out your tribute. Once you’ve decided on the perfect message to memorialise your loved one, you can share the digital tribute with your friends and family on Facebook.
